I would describe the rod action as very powerful, as you would expect from most Dickersons. Used but very good serviceable condition. The varnish is in good condition. The top snake guide on the butt has a bit of a bend to it. The owners name and the date 1957 are lettered on the butt. "Dickerson 8014" is lettered one flat right. The rod is very
